Onion Bahjias
- 3 oz gram (chickpea) flour
- 2 oz self raising flour
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 spring onion - finely chopped
- 1 medium potato - grated
- 2 medium onions - chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with a little water to form a
stiff batter.
- Deep fry on a low heat until crisp and brown.
